Jewellery Ireland came to us to do their 2016 promotional material. They had a brand new logo and wanted their promotional material to compliment the logo, with an emphasis on presenting the Jewellery Ireland brand in a more visually cohesive way. The brief was to communicate a more corporate tone than previous years and to visually reflect Jewellery Ireland as the most significant and trusted jewellery event in Ireland that brings together the biggest players in the jewellery industry.
From the outset we wanted to use some black and white imagery as it has an artistic and sophisticated feel. It was important to us that we used a model and jewellery that represented the high-end contemporary jewellery that would be showcased at the event. A woman wears jewellery to feel beautiful. The elegant photograph with her bare skin and the clean black background, along with the focus and pop of colour from the earring perfectly represents why people buy and love expensive jewellery — It stands out, embodies luxury and enhances the beauty of its wearer.
The promotional material we designed included: an A5 e-invite, B5 Postcard, Badge ticket, 2 DL invites; one general and one personalised.
Together all the elements in Jewellery Ireland’s new identity and associated promotional material represent the brand and event as the biggest and most important event for the jewellery industry in Ireland. One that’s not to be missed!
